Constitutional Law is the corner stone of the State existence, of State creation and building. The Lebanese Constitution, as the vast majority of contemporary constitutions, describes the basic principles of the state, the structures and processes of government, but also the fundamental rights and freedoms of citizens. More often, Lebanese citizens have little or only partial knowledge about the rights and duties laid down by the Constitution - constitutional law is mostly reserved to people with higher education and initiated experts instead of being considered part of basic civic education. Thus, we aim to provide free, comprehensible and accessible knowledge and civic education on constitutional topics to interested Lebanese citizens at large to achieve legal literacy and transmit civic competence in order to promote and protect the democracy and the rule of law.
