The Sri Ramcharitmanas is an important epic in the Hindu literature. In Guyana, one way of chanting from this epic is by singing in a group with jal and drum, following a tune or baani. This style of signing is now being revived in Guyana. The Sixth Ramayana Gole Satsangh was held on 17 September, 2017 at Ogle Mandir, East Coast Demerara. On 30 October, 2011 the Amar Deep Ramayana Sangh hosted a satsangh at the Shri Krishna Javan Sangh in Campbelville , Georgetown, Guyana. The Enterprise Vishnu Mandir Ramayana Gole, the Little Biaboo Mahaica Ramayana Gole, the Grove/Hope East Bank Demerara Ramayana gole all contributed to this praise to Lord Rama.These Goles met again on the 2 December, 2012 at the Enterprise Vishnu Mandir .The goles met for the third time on 20 October, 2013 at Little Biaboo Mandir, Mahaica Creek.
