Before the discovery of Television, the humble Radio was a much-loved source of entertainment for young & old alike. Audio theatres played out on Radio were extremely popular. For example, The Friday Theatre or ‘Shukro-barer Natok’ which was broadcast every Friday at 8p.m, was something that one would wait for eagerly.In an effort to recreate the nostalgia of the audio plays of yore, Times of Theatre plans to host such audio plays on the digital platform every week.TOT will podcast “Shruti Natok” (Audio Theatre) every Friday at 8 PM. We welcome all groups & individuals who practice this art form, to submit their entry.
