These Podcasts concentrate on Jazz from the mid 40's to the Late 60's. Straight Big Band, Be Bop, Afro-Cuban Jazz, Cuban Music,Hard Bop, Cool Jazz, Free Jazz, Avant Garde, Bossa Nova and a maybe a little early Progressive Jazz, maybe. You will not hear any so-called "Smooth Jazz." No salsa either. I like that music also but this here podcast is strictly about my love of "Talent." These are the BEST musicians that ever lived. Why? Because they had the "Freedom" to improvise and become even better. "Quality" is what you will hear. Remember this, Great Music never gets old! ENJOY!
