In 2015, he founded the Gospel Church in Chengdu (Mission Church of Early Rain Church). In 2019, he launched the "Prayer App." He obtained a Master of Theology (Th.M) in New Testament from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 2021 and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies at the same institution. Joseph has five sons.</p>
