Kalley Powell is a singer/songwriter influenced not only by 90s alternative, and modern indie music, but also by the people and places around him. Originally from Bloomington, IL, in 2006 he made Houston his home. He's began writing songs while in high school and has continued in varying degrees of volume ever since. In college at Illinois Wesleyan University, he was the front man of a band that never decided on a name. After college, he played solo shows around his hometown and self-produced a single, limited run album.Since then, he has mostly just written and recorded music, not playing shows. While he continues to write, he is also looking for fellow musicians with whom to start a band in Houston.
