Patent licensing has become selfish. Patent owners and patent users fear each other. Patent owners license or litigate their own patents, ignoring all others. Wealthy users destroy or neutralize individual patents. Lawyers are the only ones guaranteed to make money. This is wrong. Value should go to inventors and innovators. A voluntary transaction encompassing all patents, payable only when a sale occurs, offering value, simplicity, and uniformity, is needed. PatentBooks fills this need. PatentBooks is built on my experience taking apart everything under the sun over the last quarter century. Our investigation targets do not "steal" patents. There is currently no way to be honest. PatentBooks enables honest people to be honest, but I cannot build PatentBooks. You can. PatentBooks needs patent owners and users to listen to and work with each other. The meeting on June 14 is the first of many open honest discussions. We hope you will join.
