Sofia Virginia McGuire was born in Charlotte, NC, and graduated from UNC-Greensboro. Her studies included art, nutrition, psychology, the family and women's history. She is an author as well as a published poet and artist, and teaches meditation, expressive illumined art and elemental creation art to assist people with integrating their life journey. Sofia offers support to uphold personal and familial faith structures in an interfaith/multifaith way that promotes love, harmonious living and beauty. She is also a healer, having studied physiology and the human body, as well as vibrational healing modalities and homeopathy. She is a representative for the Sufi Order International, and is an ordained reverend and healer. She also studied for three years with the Foundation for Human Enrichment.
