
The third and final volume in hip-pop artist Paris Montgomery's "Songs About A Girl" series, "S.W.A.G." is solely written & produced by Burnt Joint Productions and newly formed writing team The Lab Addicts. The album starts out with a brokenhearted and emotional letter to "Dear Toni", where Paris recalls the up-and-downs of their relationship. Throughout the song, Paris often drifts into silence, leaving the listeners with nothing but a stripped down - yet undeniably mesmerizing - piano and string arrangement. Majority of the album follows the mood of the emo intro, especially records like "Your All" which is a duet with the sure-to-be starlet Chelsea Tavares. The two exchange lines ("Just hold me close/ You do the same/ I promise you won't hurt/ Ever again") and the contrast works beautifully, with Paris' smooth tone being challenged by Chelsea's raspy and soulful voice.
