The Takeout with Major Garrett

The Takeout , hosted by CBS News chief Washington correspondent Major Garrett, is a never-take-yourself-too-seriously daily show that harnesses the best and latest reporting from CBS News. Its motto: relentlessly curious, steadfastly non-ideological. Featuring unique guest interviews, investigative journalism and the day’s biggest events, The Takeout will also simplify and explain the complexities and acronyms of official Washington. The show is driven by national politics but lives comfortably in deep discussions of economics, pop culture, sports and technology.
