89 FM A Rádio Rock

Broadcasting on 89.1 MHz FM, this São Paulo-based radio station serves the Metropolitan Region with a consistent focus on rock music. Launched on December 2, 1985, the station, officially known as 89 FM A Rádio Rock, initially carved a niche with commercial rock programming. After a period from 2006 to 2012 when it adopted a more pop-oriented format, the broadcaster made a significant return to its rock roots in December 2012, a move celebrated by its audience.

Controlled by the Grupo Camargo de Comunicação, the station's headquarters are situated on the prominent Avenida Paulista. It distinguishes itself with a robust lineup of 22 hosts and a diverse schedule featuring popular programs such as "Do Balacobaco 2.Zé," "Ramona 89," and "Show do Tatola." Beyond daily broadcasts, 89 FM A Rádio Rock is actively involved in the music scene, organizing events like the "89 Rock Boat" festival and "Somos Rock Festival." Listeners can also tune into specialized segments, including "Pegadas de Andreas Kisser," dedicated to heavy metal, and "Me Poupe 89," which offers financial entertainment.
