Davet Radyo

Established in 1993 amid the initial surge of Turkish private radio licensing, this southeastern Anatolian service introduced structured Islamic moral education and cultural dialogue to Gaziantep's urban center. Grounded in the historic Seferpaşa neighborhood of the Şahinbey district, daily programming balances theological instruction with classical religious literature.

Schedules follow traditional daily devotional rhythms. Early morning hours feature complete recitations of the Qur'an accompanied by Turkish verse translations, followed by interpretive readings from the Risale-i Nur collection. Midday blocks present dedicated segments including Hadith readings from Imam Suyuti's collections and biographical studies of Islamic history through the Siyer-i Nebi format. Afternoon and evening rotations incorporate Islamic jurisprudence lessons alongside devotional poetry.

Listeners across Gaziantep access transmissions via terrestrial 91.0 FM, supplemented by digital streams hosted at davetradyo.net for regional emigrants.
