A prominent purveyor of regional Mexican music, Latin hits, and grupera, XHIH-FM, branded as La Única, is available on 103.3 FM to Fresnillo de González Echeverría, Zacatecas. The station traces its origins back to July 20, 1970, when it first received its concession as XEIH-AM. Initially transmitting on 1400 kHz, the AM predecessor later shifted to 770 kHz, eventually increasing its daytime power to 10 kW in the 1990s. In December 2011, XHIH-FM transitioned to the FM band, establishing its current 103.3 MHz frequency. The station was subsequently approved to increase its effective radiated power to 32.27 kW, enhancing its coverage across the region. La Única delivers a blend of popular musical styles and local programming, which keeps its audience in Fresnillo connected to both traditional and contemporary sounds from Mexico and Latin America.
