Max FM

Classic rock riffs and modern pop-rock hits anchor the sonic identity of Max FM across the Ankara metropolitan basin. Transmitting on 95.8 FM with studios based in the Aşağı Ayrancı quarter of Çankaya, the station utilizes the slogan "Maximum Music" to present a strictly curated soundscape dominated by western guitar-driven genres. The playlist balances vintage rock cuts from artists like Van Morrison with contemporary acoustic tracks, establishing a specialized niche separate from national Turkish pop syndicates.

Daily operations deliver twenty-four hours of continuous audio, alternating high-tempo drive-time rock tracks with evening acoustic selections. Local motorists across Ankara's primary thoroughfares, including Atatürk Boulevard and Eskişehir Road, rely on the terrestrial signal for steady western hits alongside localized metropolitan announcements. Weekly programming strips out excessive talk segments to maintain direct focus on melodic rhythms. Web syndication via maxfm.com.tr extends this regional presence to expatriates and university students seeking focused rock selections outside traditional commercial mainstream radio.
