About Rire & Chansons

Stand-up comedy recordings and classic French pop form an uncommon hybrid format across France's commercial radio spectrum. Founded in 1989 in Paris, the station pairs humorous sketches from established francophone comedians with pop-rock playlists.

Terrestrial transmitters deliver content nationwide, reaching urban centers including Lyon on 96.2 FM, Paris on 97.8 FM, and Bordeaux on 100.1 FM, supplemented by digital coverage via national DAB+ multiplex M1. Daily programming balances recorded comedy sets, prank calls, and contemporary morning talk with mainstream music blocks, providing steady comedic relief across metropolitan commuter corridors.
