Saaral FM

Emerging from Sathupalli along Mallesam Gupta Road, local transmission began as a digital initiative to provide traditional regional audio for South Indian diaspora communities separated across international borders. Archival literature and civic history shaped early editorial planning, answering community demand for heritage media in developing regional belts. The programming schedule runs daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM with structured thematic presentations rather than continuous unmoderated music.

Morning transmissions open with spiritual reflections during Vaikarai Saaral, followed by moral discourse drawn from ancient literature in Valluvanin Kural Neri. Spoken-word radio traditions persist through dedicated segments featuring Thenkachi Ko. Swaminathan’s historical storytelling formats and hourly history retrospectives. Listener interaction continues through WhatsApp audio submissions, alongside scheduled romance ballads in Andhi Varum Neram and evening lullabies in Iravukku Thalaattu. Track curation emphasizes classic Tamil cinema melodies, supplemented by Telugu and Hindi compositions. Program listings remain accessible via saaralfm.com.
