Southern born and raised in Dallas,Texas on January 13th,1982 .I grew up in a very rough area known as Oak Cliff.I had very strict parents and didn’t get to listen to hip-hop i had to sneak and listen to it. As I grew older, I realized I had a talent for singing. I found this out like most R&B singers by being in the church choir as a little kid.However , I didn’t have the support system I needed to really develop my talent. We were not financially able to do so and my folks really thought I wouldn’t amount to much in life due to the hardships experienced in their own lives. My life, most days, made it even harder to write because of the constant war between me and father who was verbally abuse and extremely controlling .
