Radyo Özgür

Terrestrial signal coverage across the Ankara province relies on a 105.1 MHz FM carrier frequency, migrating from an earlier 108.0 MHz assignment to stabilize reception throughout the central plateau. Complementing regional RF propagation, MP3 streaming architecture via radyoozgur.com.tr routes audio feeds over standard internet protocols to global listeners.

The programming grid prioritizes Türk Halk Müziği and Özgün Müzik traditions, highlighting ozan poetry, bağlama arrangements, and historical folk narratives. Studio productions originate directly from the Kızılay quarter on Ziya Gökalp Avenue. Daytime scheduling incorporates specialized programming blocks, including Funda Yücel's listener-driven "İstek Saati" at 13:00 and Mustafa Ertarakçı's cultural show "Son İstasyon" at 16:00. Production standards emphasize authentic acoustic recordings over commercial contemporary pop charts, maintaining dedicated segments for regional Anatolian musicians.
